Protective Effect of Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate in Hydrogen Peroxide-Induced Oxidative Damage in Chicken Lymphocytes

Intracellular antioxidants and redox products. Lymphocytes () were treated with EGCG (0, 22.5, 45, and 90 μM) for 6 h first and then cultured in media with (model) or without (normal control) H2O2 (80 μM) for an additional 4 h. The cells were treated in lysis buffer to release the intracellular materials for analysis of enzymatic (T-AOC and GSH-PX) and nonenzymatic (GSH and GSSG) antioxidants (a–d) and redox products (NO, NOS, MDA, LPO, and Carbonyl) (e–i).
