Chronic Systemic Inflammation Exacerbates Neurotoxicity in a Parkinson’s Disease Model

<div>After LPS and MPTP challenges, brain BDNF levels are reduced. Mice were administered with saline solution, mLPS (100 <i>μ</i>g/kg twice a week for three months), sLPS (5 mg/kg), and MPTP (30 mg/kg for five consecutive days).
