ROS Reduction Does Not Decrease the Anticancer Efficacy of X-Ray in Two Breast Cancer Cell Lines

ROS reduction abolished cisplatin-induced cell cycle arrest but only moderately reversed X-ray induced cell cycle arrest. (a) The cell cycle distribution was measured for MDA-MB-231 cell treated with 2 μM cisplatin and/or 8 Gy X-ray, in the presence or absence of NAC. MDA-MB-231 cells (b) and MCF-7 cells (c) were treated with or without NAC, 1 T static magnetic field, and X-rays before their cell cycle were measured.
