Toxicological Implications of Platinum Nanoparticle Exposure: Stimulation of Intracellular Stress, Inflammatory Response, and Akt Signaling In Vitro

<div>Summary of HepG2 cellular responses following PtNP exposure. This study identified that PtNPs induced traditional toxicological responses including cytotoxicity and stress activation. Moreover, cellular functionality was modified as assessed via activation of an inflammatory response and modulation of IGF-1 dependent signal transduction.</div>
