Nanoparticles for Environment, Engineering, and Nanomedicine

Description

Nanomaterials, in particularly nanoparticles, and their technological application hold tremendous potential for improvements in a wide variety of aspects of our daily lives including human health, environmental safety, and device engineering. Extensive research on nanoparticles materials and devices has revealed many exciting and promising applications in environment, engineering, biomedicine, and beyond.

Following the overwhelming success of the Third International Congress of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICNN’2017) held in Quito, Ecuador, the scientific committee has decided to publish a special issue in this journal with extended/revised versions of papers presented at ICNN’2017. Submitted manuscripts will undergo a full peer-review process. Authors are cordially invited to revise/expand the conference version to contain significant new findings of their research work. The special issue is also open to the submission of manuscripts from outside the conference.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Nanoparticles and nanomedicine
  • Nanofabrication, synthesis, characterization, and engineering
  • Applications of nanomaterials on the environment
  • Frontiers of nanoscience and nanotechnology
