The Autoantigenic Proinsulin B-Chain Peptide B11-23 Synergises with the 70 kDa Heat Shock Protein DnaK in Macrophage Stimulation

<div>Comparison of the macrophage stimulatory capacity of the insulin B-chain peptides B11-23 and B18-30 in combination with DnaK. J774A.1 cells were incubated in the absence (Medium) or presence of LPS, peptides B11-23 or B18-30, DnaK, or peptide-DnaK combinations at the indicated concentrations. Levels of TNF<i>α</i> (a) and IL-6 (b) in the culture supernatants were determined by ELISA.
