Effects of fenofibrate on DM rat retinas as visualized by immunofluorescence staining of adiponectin (a), adipoR1 (b), and adipoR2 (c). Adiponectin expression was observed in the cells within the blood vessels and ganglion cell layer (a). AdipoR1 was observed in the vascular endothelial cells and ganglion cell layer (b). AdipoR2 was expressed at low levels in the vascular endothelial cells (c).
