Astaxanthin Enhances Gingival Wound Healing following High Glucose-Induced Oxidative Stress

<div>Effects of ASTX on ROS levels induced by hyperglycemia in human gingival fibroblasts were determined by confocal microscopy. Representative images of DCFDA from 5-, 25-, and 50 mM glucose and ASTX-treated groups are given. To monitor the ROS levels, DCFDA loaded cells were calibrated with 100 <i>μ</i>M H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>.
