Curcumin Inhibits Proliferation of Epstein–Barr Virus-Associated Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Cells by Inhibiting EBV Nuclear Antigen 1 Expression

Curcumin reduces EBV virion production in EBV-positive NPC cells. The HONE1 (a) and HK1-EBV (b) cells were treated with TPA (40 ng/ml) and SB (3 mM) for 3 h followed by the treatment of DMSO (vehicle control) or curcumin (5 μM and 10 μM).
