Multitargeted role of Essential oils (EOs) towards cancer prevention. The EOs-mediated anticancer strategies identified so far include cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and DNA repair mechanisms. EO reduces cancer cell proliferation, metastasis, and MDR which make them potential candidates toward adjuvant anticancer therapeutic agents.
