Effects of PEDF proteins on real-time electrical cell impedance of T24, 231-BR, and 4T1-BR5 cells in culture: cells were cultured in complete media to subconfluency, followed by serum starvation for 8 h, and then media was replaced with fresh media without serum containing indicated concentrations of recombinant human PEDF-1 or PEDF-2 proteins. Real-time cell impedance was monitored in cells treated with indicated concentrations of PEDF. Cell index was normalized relative to the cell numbers at the time of PEDF addition (shown by arrow). Each point is the average of triplicate assays. Error bars indicate average ± SD.
