Industry 5.0 and Mathematical Problems: Intelligent Technology, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence

This issue is now closed for submissions.

Description

Over time, the concept of Industry 5.0 has penetrated all walks of life, especially logistics, security, services, and transportation. Although different researchers have different views on Industry 5.0, it is now widely recognized that industry 5.0 focuses on human-machine (or human-computer) interaction in industrial production, especially in the field of industrial transportation. Increasing numbers of industrial engineers and researchers have begun to focus on the research of industrial intelligent transportation robots or intelligent transportation vehicles, and great progress has been made in recent years.

But in the development of intelligent technology, transportation, engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI), it is inevitable to encounter mathematical problems. Mathematics is a universal subject and plays an essential role in the development of science and technology. Thus, it is mandatory to focus on the mathematical interaction and questions of such advances in these fields.

Therefore, this Special Issue focuses on mathematical problems in industry 5.0, especially in the development of intelligent technology, transportation engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and computer science under the background of industry 5.0. We look forward to receiving original research and review articles discussing unique views and research progress on the development of intelligent technologies in this new era. In principle, the Special Issue is willing to accept any submissions related to industry, transportation technology, intelligent technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and computer science.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Mathematical problems in the development of intelligent technology, transportation, engineering, artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science
  • Industry 5.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) in mathematics, logistics, and safety
  • Human role in the industry 5.0: human-machine collaboration and new scenarios for safety
  • Intelligent transportation
  • Mathematical problems in intelligent systems
  • Industry robots and vehicles
  • Sustainable and circular economy in new industry scenarios
  • New directions in industry, transportation technology, intelligent technology, system optimization, automation, artificial intelligence, and computer science
