A Controlled Release Codelivery System of MSCs Encapsulated in Dextran/Gelatin Hydrogel with TGF-<i>β</i>3-Loaded Nanoparticles for Nucleus Pulposus Regeneration

<div>Photomicrographs showed the immunohistological staining for aggrecan (a1–e1) and type II collagen (a2–e2) of neo-NP tissue formation in the codelivery system of the MSCs-seeded dextran/gelatin hydrogel encapsulated with no supplement (control (b1-2)), 1000 <i>μ</i>g/mL blank PLGANPs (PLGANPs (c1-2)), 1000 <i>μ</i>g/mL TGF-<i>β</i>3-loaded PLGANPs (TGF-<i>β</i>3-PLGANPs (d1-2)), and the hydrogels with no supplements cultured in the medium containing 10 ng/mL TGF-<i>β</i>3 (TGF-<i>β</i>3 (e1-2)) for 28 days.
