Appraisal of the Possible Role of PPARγ Upregulation by CLA of Probiotic Pediococcus pentosaceus GS4 in Colon Cancer Mitigation

The biohydrogenation-derived CLA of probiotic GS4 arrested cell cycle of HCT-116: The HCT-116 cells were pre-treated with BADGE followed by 100 μg/mL CLA/CLAGS4 treatment for 48 hours, subsequently, cells were fixed, and PI staining was performed. The stained cells were analysed by flow cytometry and data were expressed as % of control. Statistical analysis of data (means ± SE) was determined by one way-ANOVA with post hoc Newman–Keuls analysis and depicted as *versus control; #versus BADGE control.
