Inhibition of Prostate Cancer Cells by 4,5-Dicaffeoylquinic Acid through Cell Cycle Arrest

Differential sensitivity of cancer cell lines and nontumorigenic cell lines to 4,5-diCQA. The cell lines were cultured in their respective media as described in Section 2.6. Cultures were dissociated using trypsin and cells were plated in 96-well plates (5000 cells/well). After 24 hours, cells were treated with 5 μM concentration of 4,5-diCQA in the growth medium. After 72 hours of treatment, cell viability was ascertained by the CCK-8 assay. Untreated cultures served as controls. Mean ± standard deviation of triplicates is represented.
