Visualizing pairwise correlations between treatment subclusters. The matrix is showing the strength (0.6 = blue; 1 = red) of correlation between the subclusters identified in Figure 7(d) and annotated here using the rearing condition, cluster (1-6), and region of the V1. Hierarchical clustering was used to order the data so that subclusters with strong correlations were nearby in the matrix. The subclusters formed 5 groups using the height of the dendrogram that is denoted by a change in the color of the dendrogram. The dotted black line in the dendrogram highlights the path to the normal subcluster. The black lines in the matrix identify the 5 groupings of the subclusters.
