Tactile detection and pressure pain thresholds in face, hand palm, and dorsum for each group (children with ASD versus healthy children), separated by body locations (face versus hand palm versus hand dorsum) and body side (right versus left). Pressure pain thresholds were significantly lower in ASD children, whereas tactile detection thresholds were similar to healthy controls in hand palm but significantly lower on face and hand dorsum.
