Acetazolamide Treatment Prevents Redistribution of Astrocyte Aquaporin 4 after Murine Traumatic Brain Injury

Acetazolamide treatment prevents AQP4 reorganization in human astrocytes. Astrocytes were treated with (a) vehicle or (b) acetazolamide (0.45 μm) at the onset of OGD. At 48 hours, astrocytes were fixed and subjected to APQ4 immunocytochemistry (n=3/group, 3 independent experiments).
