Interleukin-7 Resensitizes Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer to Cisplatin via Inhibition of ABCG2

Figure 7

Treatment of IL-7 in vivo restored the DDP sensitivity of tumors in mice. The xenograft tumor resistant to DDP was established by injection of A549/DDP into the nude mice. Subsequently, the mice were treated with IL-7 (2 μg/injection, twice a week) and DDP (5 mg/kg, twice a week). After 28-day treatment, the mice were sacrificed and the tumors were collected for examinations on the volume (a, b), the weight (c), the cellular expression of Ki-76 by IHC (d), the cell apoptosis by TUNEL assay (e), and the expressions of ABCG2, AKT, p-AKT, PI3K, p-PI3K, and IL-7 by Western blot (f, g). and , as compared with the DDP group; , as compared with the DDP group.
