Regulatory T Cells Protect Fine Particulate Matter-Induced Inflammatory Responses in Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells

PM induces HUVECs inflammatory responses in a concentration-dependent manner. HUVECs were treated with graded concentration (2, 5, 10, 20, and 40 μg/cm²) of suspension of the particles for 24 h and the supernatant was collected. The concentration of sVCAM-1 (a), sICAM-1 (b), IL-6 (c), and IL-8 (d) was detected by Elisa. ∗ indicates PM or LPS versus control. ^∗𝑃<0.05; ^∗∗𝑃<0.01. Experiments were repeated 3 times.
