JNK and NADPH Oxidase Involved in Fluoride-Induced Oxidative Stress in BV-2 Microglia Cells

The activation of microglial BV-2 cells induced by fluoride. Cells were treated with indicated concentrations of NaF for 24 h and immunofluorescence localization with an Iba-1 antibody as a microglial marker being observed. Microglial activity was detected by Iba-1 expression (red) in cytoplasm and nucleus dyed with DAPI was presented in blue. Highly expression areas of Iba-1 immunoreactivity were indicated by red colour. Fluorescence microscopy: (400x).
