Three dimensional images of CaV1.2 and CaV1.3 antibody labeling in the hippocampal CA1 region. 25 μm sections were imaged as a Z stack of 0.5 μm sections to produce a three dimensional image of labeling with CaV1.2 (A, B, and C) and CaV1.3 (D, E, and F) antibodies. The left panel demonstrates the DAPI stain of the nuclei along with the calcium channel staining with the image split into just nuclei in the middle panel or just calcium channels in the right panel to aid in the visualization of the localization of the channels.
