Enzyme assays were carried out as described under Materials and Methods by varying either pH at 25°C (a) or temperature at pH 7.8 (b) using either 1 mM DTNB (black-bullet) or 60 μM GSSG (white-bullet) as substrate and 100 μM NADPH. Each point represents the average of two independent experiments.
