Molecular mechanisms involved in the development of fatty liver in ob/ob mice on choline-deficient diet. 8-week-old male ob/ob mice had free access to either CD or CS diets for 2 months. The liver sections were stained with H & E staining protocol, and the amount of hepatic triglyceride was measured (a). The activities of glycerol-3-phosphate-acyltransferase (GPAT) (b) and β-hydroxyl acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (β-HAD) (c) were assayed.
