Molecular mechanisms involved in improved insulin sensitivity in ob/ob mice on choline-deficient diet. 8-week-old male ob/ob mice had free access to either CD or CS diets for 2 months. Hepatic protein expression of PDK4 (a), PEPCK, PGC-1α (b), SOCS3 (c), and glucagon receptor (e) was assayed by immunoblotting.
