Effect of all developed formulations on prostate cancer cell lines (DU145, PC3, and LNCaP) proliferation. Prostate cancer cells were seeded in serum-containing media in 96-well plates at the density of 2 × 10³ cells/well. After 24 h incubation at 37°C, cells were treated with increasing concentrations of free doxo, Lipo, Lipo-doxo, LipoUT, and LipoUT-doxo (20-0,16 μM) for 72 h. Cell viability was assessed by MTT assay as described in Materials and Methods. .
