Plasmonics and Nanophotonics

Description

Nanostructures, their attributions to materials, plasmonic and photonic properties, and development of many new fantastic applications are not only serious but also hot topics of worldwide research activities. Fabrication and subwavelength manipulation of nanostructures to produce the desired radiation remain a significant challenge. This gives rise to researchers mounting attention on science or applications of plasmonics and nanophotonics.

We invite investigators to contribute original research articles as well as review articles related to plasmonics or nanophotonics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Surface plasmon
  • Metamaterial and devices
  • Nanomaterial fabrication and application
  • Plasmonic integrated optics
  • Subwavelength images
  • NEMS and MOEMS
  • Application in sensors, photovoltaics, and displays

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jnm/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/jnm/plas/ according to the following timetable:
