Effect of aptamer coating concentration. Apt 4 was spotted on polyester cloth at different concentrations (1, 2.00 μM; 2, 1.00 μM; 3, 0.50 μM; 4, 0.25 μM; 5, 0.12 μM). After UV cross-linking, the strips were saturated with thrombin solution followed by immunoenzymatic assay of bound thrombin as described in Methods. These experiments were repeated in a separate trial with identical results (not shown).
