(a) Friction coefficients [13, 14, 23, 24] of the lubricants used in the present study. The graphite and MoS₂ aerosol lubricants were generously sprayed on the compression platens before testing. (b) Lubricants used for each sample. In the case of the MoS₂ and Teflon combination, the Teflon was placed on the upper and lower compression platens first and then the MoS₂ was generously applied to the top of the Teflon.
