Anti-SARS-Cov-2 S-RBD IgG Formed after BNT162b2 Vaccination Can Bind C1q and Activate Complement

<div>Complement activation before and after BNT162b2 vaccination. 19 participants provided samples before and after the first dose of BNT162b2, and 5 participants provided samples before and after the second dose of BNT162b2. Serum samples were incubated with RBD-coated plates (a) bound IgG, (b) IgA, (c) IgM, (d) C1q, (e) MBL, and (f) formed C5b-9 were subsequently measured as described in the methods section.
