Description

Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IoT) is a promising network of technology to facilitate the digital transformation for medical applications in the future. A number of challenges and issues associated with IoT design and modeling have arisen, including intelligent, green, reliable, and secure system modeling and design for practical smart applications in medical technology.

It is extremely important to produce an efficient design and model for smart solutions for these issues and challenges, by utilizing smart devices, new techniques, and new technologies developed as a result of efficient IoT modeling and design of systems. Due to the recent advances in smart IoT systems, IoT is shifting towards high-performance design applications. The modeling and design of the IoT system have contributed to several fields, including IoT-health, AI-IoT, next-generation wireless systems for IoT, and IoT industry and applications.

This Special Issue will provide a forum for the most recent advances in the modeling and design of IoT systems in medical applications. We encourage submissions in relation to the development and characterization of new and optimized modeling and design of IoT systems. Manuscripts may include mathematics, designs, analytical concepts, simulations, design research, system designs, novel design concepts and hardware realization, and experiments for the modeling and design of IoT systems. Moreover, we also encourage submissions discussing validation against experiments and the connection with the modeling and design of IoT systems. The aim of this Special Issue is to bring together original research and review articles that focus on IoT applications in medicine.
