Nec-1 attenuates hematoma size after ICH. Nec-1 administration at the time of injury reduced hematoma size at 72 h after ICH. Coronal brain images were prepared and digitally captured to visualize hematoma size (top panels). Hematoma volume was quantified by determining the hemoglobin content of each hemisphere at 72 hours after ICH (bottom panel). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM (^∗𝑃<0.05, ^∗∗∗𝑃<0.001; 𝑛=10--14 per group). Nec-1 and Nec-1_inactive were not significantly different from sham group.
