Altered expression of ECM proteins in Bim−/− retinal cells. Wild-type and Bim−/− retinal endothelial cells (panel (a)) and pericytes (panel (b)) were grown for 2 days in serum-free medium. The medium was harvested, clarified, and Western-blotted for extracellular matrix proteins as noted. The expression of -actin from total cell lysates was used as a loading control. These experiments were repeated twice with similar results.
