Nuclear translocation of β-catenin correlates with increased expression of ZEB1 and Snail1. (a) Immunoblotting of whole cell lysates of infected or IL-1β-stimulated cells with anti-β-catenin and anti-E-cadherin antibodies. The relative expression of (b) Snail1 and CDH1 and (c) ZEB1 genes was determined by semiquantitative RT-PCR. Expression of housekeeping genes RPLP0 and GAPDH was used as internal control.
