Clinical criteria for Neurofibromatosis Type-1 (NF-1): ≥ 2 or more of the following [2].

≥ 6 “café-au-lait” macules
≥ 2 neurofibromas of any type or 1 plexiform neurofibroma
axillary or inguinal freckling
optic pathway gliomas
≥ 2 Lisch nodules
distinctive bone lesions such as sphenoid dysplasia or thinning of the long bone cortex,
with or without pseudoarthrosis
first-degree relative diagnosed with NF-1
