The ADC and the λ values found with both methods are reported, where the index I refers to the 2D gaussian fit method. The ADC_II and the λ_II are the results obtained from the new model introduced in this work, mimicking all the physiological processes occurring during an experiment of FUS-induced blood-brain barrier opening for drug delivery (see Section 2.2). The parameter α is a proportionality factor used in the method II. Standard deviations are shown in bracket.
