These data show a several-fold increase in the metabolic abnormality associated with the evolution of the anatomic lesion. The red arrows indicate T₂ lesion in the brainstem, while blue and green arrows indicate pons and cerebellum of the rat brain, respectively. The tumor initially developed in the pons and diffused across the cerebellum.
