These data show a several-fold increase in the metabolic abnormality associated with the evolution of the anatomic lesion. The red arrows indicate T2 lesion in the brainstem, while blue and green arrows indicate pons and cerebellum of the rat brain, respectively. The tumor initially developed in the pons and diffused across the cerebellum.
