Beta-blocker therapy restored the normal T-lymphocyte numbers reduced by CLP. (b) The percentage of T-lymphocyte apoptosis in the CLP-P and CLP-PE groups. There was no significant difference in the percentage of apoptosis between the two groups. CLP-P: the group which underwent proximal site CLP; CLP-PE: the group which received beta-blocker therapy after proximal site CLP.
