Values are presented as mean ± SEM. Statistical comparisons between COPD groups treated with Z. multiflora and dexamethasone: ⁺𝑃<0.05, ⁺⁺𝑃<0.01. Statistical comparison was done using unpaired 𝑡-test. Statistical comparison between the effect of two higher concentrations of the extract (0.8 and 1.6 mg/mL) with its low concentration (0.4 mg/mL): ^###𝑃<0.001. The statistical comparison was done using ANOVA with Tukey-Kramer multiple posttest.
