Anticancer and Antioxidant Activity of Bread Enriched with Broccoli Sprouts
The effect of raw (BE), gastrointestinally digested (GD), and gastrointestinally absorbed (GDA) extracts from breads supplemented with broccoli sprouts on the proliferation of AGS cells. A significant inhibition of AGS proliferation was observed in the presence of all extracts administered at the concentration of 1 μg/mL. No such effect could be seen in the presence of extracts administered at 0.1 μg/mL. SB extract exerted the most pronounced cytostatic effect on AGS proliferation.
