Advanced Catalysis and Nanostructure Design for Solar Energy Conversion

Description

This special issue is addressed to researchers working in the fields of both fundamental and applied aspects of solar energy conversion. It is intended to present the state-of-the-art, breakthroughs, and perspectives as well as applications of nanostructured materials and catalytic processes in solar energy conversion.

In order to achieve this purposed aim we cordially invite investigators to contribute high-quality original research articles as well as review articles that will stimulate the ongoing efforts to understand the relationship between the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials and demonstrate their applications for solar energy conversion. We are particularly interested in articles that explore the fundamentals in catalytic processes for solar energy conversion, breakthrough in design and synthesis of nanomaterials or nanostructures, and characterization of material properties and performance of novel devices and systems. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Catalytic processes and physical investigation into solar energy conversion
  • Interfacial and surface process for catalytic reactions
  • Physicochemical properties of nanostructured catalysts
  • Catalytic process and mechanism for solar energy conversion and utilization
  • Development of novel nanostructured materials for solar energy conversion
  • Advanced synthesis of solar energy materials
  • Solar energy related heat exchangers and enhanced heat transfer devices
  • Fluid flow and heat transfer and energy conversation/management for solar energy conversion
  • Carbon-based catalysts for other renewable energy processes

Before submission authors should carefully read the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/acmp/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/acmp/cano/ according to the following timetable:
