The solid lines show the evolution of the whole infall rate of the same 7 theoretical galaxies shown in Figure 1 with the same color coding. The higher the total mass, the higher the infall rate. Dashed purple and yellow lines represent the prescriptions from Dekel et al. [77] and Faucher-Giguère et al. [78], respectively. The dotted purple lines are the Dekel et al. [77] prescriptions for masses and , while the red hexagon in the present time is the estimated value given by Sancisi et al. [79].
